Mashup Awards: Introduction to Open Data Awards

Mashup Awards (MA) is a technology contest launched in 2006, in which designs and ideas used for Web sites and smart phone applications developed by Web developers compete. About 500 entries from developers, who are at the cutting edge of technology, have been received and their ideas for the future of the Web and the Internet are presented.

Open Data Award was established at Mashup Awards in 2014

In cooperation with the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications and the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, we invite entries from businesses that use open data, including not only those that are at an experimental stage but also those that have already been commercialized.
